First Half Scoring Pushes Jefferson Past STAC, 6-0

Philadelphia, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team dropped a 6-0 non-conference result to Jefferson University on Saturday afternoon at Ravenhill Field in the City of Brotherly Love.

STAC falls to 0-2-2 on the year, while Jefferson improves to 3-0-0.

Dillan Sorino scored twice in the match, while Nikki Dedes, Evelin Ventura-Garcia, Alexa Callahan and Anna Carpenter tallied a goal apiece for the Rams.

Amalie Steen, Kara Hill, Rachel Brownell, Sophie Stanley. Nicole Savage and Ninni Ringstad each posted shots on frame for the Spartans, and saw them all saved by Jefferson keeper Liv Riddel (3-0-0) to earn her third win in three tries.

Catalena Robson (L, 0-1-2) got the start in net for STAC and made three saves on nine shots, before being replaced by teammate Haley Liss for the final 33 minutes of the match. Liss stopped all four shots that she faced.
