
Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team opened its East Coast Conference schedule on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 to Daemen University at Spartan Field in Rockland County.
STAC drops to 0-5-2 overall and 0-1-0 in ECC play, while Daemen improves to 3-4-0 and 2-0-0.
Kylie Miranto scored twice in the match, while Chloe Cardone also tallied a goal for the Wildcats.
Amalie Steen, Sarai Rodriguez, Natalie Oden, Isabella Diianni and Kaitlyn Maguire each posted shots on frame for the Spartans, and saw them all saved by Daemen keeper Becca Schultz (3-4-0) to earn her third win in seven tries.
Catalena Robson (L, 0-4-2) got the start in net for STAC and made four saves on seven shots.
