Three First-Half Goals Pace Daemen in 3-0 Win Over STAC Women’s Soccer

Amherst, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team opened conference play on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 3-0 result to Daemen University at Royal Park in Western New York, with all three goals scored in the first half.

STAC falls to 0-6-0 overall and 0-1-0 in ECC play, while Daemen improves to 3-2-0 and 1-0-0.

Kylie Miranto scored twice in the match, while Macayla Hansen also tallied a goal for the Wildcats. In goal, Becca Schultz (W, 3-2) got the start and faced no shots in almost 79 minutes of action, before being relieved teammate Allie Dimitrovski for the final 11 plus minutes of play. Dimitrovski also saw no shots.

Catalena Robson (L, 0-3) got the start in net for STAC and turned aside 5 of 8 shots fired her way.
