STAC Women's Soccer Battles Bentley to 1-1 Draw

Sparkill, N.Y. - For the third straight match, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw, this one with Bentley University on Wednesday afternoon at Spartan Field.

The Spartans received first half scoring from Sarai Rodriguez, with the assist credited to teammate Kaitlyn Maguire. Keeper Madison Lepage got the start in goal and turned aside all four shots fired her way in first half action, before Elizabeth Glover (T, 0-0-2) came on in relief for the final 45 minutes. Glover stopped 8 of 9 shots to preserve the stalemate.

Meanwhile, Olivia Matthews tallied an unassisted goal for the Falcons late in the second half, as goalie Holly DiPalo (T, 4-4-3) stopped three of four shots sent in her direction.
