Firebirds Top the Lady Spartans, 7-2

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team opened the 2014 season with a loss to the District of Columbia, 7-2.  The firebirds lost the third flight doubles match as well as the sixth flight singles match by default.  Nyenyeri Kanefu fell in the top flight singles match, 2-6, 0-6 for the Lady Spartans. 

The Lady Spartans will take on the University of the Schiences on Sunday afternoon.
