The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team put up a hard fought battle against a tough opponent, Queens College, falling 9-0. Bianca Signore battled in the top singles spot, eventually falling in a tie breaker, 7-6,(7-0) ,2-6,(6-10). Signore along with Sara O'Brien lost the top doubles match, 6-8.
"The match was one of their finest. All our athletes played fantastic points against Queens, commented head coach Ronnie Horn. It was a proud day to watch them play at their best."
The Spartans will take on Molloy College on Saturday.
