The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Caldwell College, 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans won 5 out of 6 singles matches, including Bianca Signore, 8-1 win in the 2nd flight. Sara O'Brien and Shannon Beihle won the 2nd doubles flight, 8-1.
O'Brien and Beihle also picked up singles wins; 8-2 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively. Raven DeLeon and Carolyn Kopf paired up for an 8-0 doubles win and both were successful in their singles matches. STAC will return to the courts on Friday when they host NYIT for their first home match as well as their first ECC opponent.
