St. Thomas women's tennis player Katarina Lopez was named the ECC Rookie of the Week after picking up wins in both doubles and singles on Friday afternoon against USP.  

Lopez started her collegiate career with an 8-1 second flight doubles win along with a 6-2, 6-0 singles win to help guide the Spartans to their first victory of the fall season.
