"We are still trying to figure some things out as we have some new faces on the roster," remarked Rockhill. "In addition, our team misses the daily contributions of our irreplaceable, retired hall of fame coach (Neil Tarangioli). However, I could not be happier with our new Spartans. They work hard and are improving every time they are on the courts. I am blessed to also have a great group of returners that have set the standard and shown our mission and culture."
"I am happy for Anaya (Brons)," stated Rockhill. "She has earned the first court and has beaten some good players. She is just going to get better and better. Elita (Silins) has also stepped up to the second court in singles and the top spot in doubles. I am so happy to see her succeed there as she has always wanted the chance to compete with the region's best players."
"We have a long way to go and we have some tough opponents ahead but I am excited to how good we can get."
