On the men’s side, the Spartans also finished in 17th place overall.  Galonski made a name for himself in his rookie campaign.  He lead STAC in every race and was named to the First Team All-Conference.  Graduate students Einar Brissing and Vincent Modafferi finished in 34:46 and 35:35 respectively.  Each was vital to the growth of STAC’s cross country program and were major contributors throughout their careers.  Sophomore Garvenchy Nicolas set a personal record on the 10K course with a time of 36:37.  The next three competitors to compete for STAC were all freshmen. Kyle Curran was the final scorer and crossed the line in 37:10.  Jonathan Laszlo and Michael Kraus finished in 37:48 and 38:57.  STAC will return 8 of the 11 team members for the 2011 season.
