Galonski Named All-Region Selection

Senior runner, Michael Galonski, has been named an All-East Region Cross Country selection for his 15th place finish in the NCAA East Regional Championship at Franklin Park.  Galonski is the first male runner to earn this accolade at STAC.  He finished the race in 32:28, picking off runners down the stretch.  Galonski has had a strong career at STAC earning many honors in his four year span.  He is a four time All-Conference runner, a three time All-Academic selection and has finished in the Top 15 in every race this season.  He holds our 8K school record as well.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized nearly 400 athletes that earned All-Region awards for cross country in Division II following this weekend’s NCAA Regional Championships. Athletes of member schools that finished in the top 25 individually at one of the eight regional sites earned the honor.  Bateman was one of only two female runners from the East Coast Conference to earn this award.
