Senior Michael Galonski led the St. Thomas Aquinas College cross country team to a 4th place team finish at the East Coast Conference Championship. His third place finish, and course PR of 25:34, earned him All-Conference First Team honors.
Galonski has led this team in every race this season. He continuously sets the pace for his teammates. Sophomore Joseph Chegwidden posted a time of 26:31 as the second Spartan to cross the line. Senior Matthew Buell was next in 27:36 followed by classmate Micheal Kraus in 28:19. Freshmen Ryan Gasser and Stephen McNiff worked with Buell and Kraus throughout the race. They have both shown great improvement throughout the season and finished in 28:25 and 28:30 respectively.
The men's squad returns to action in two weeks at the NCAA East Regional at Franklin Park in Dorcester, MA.
