Galonski Takes 3rd, Men Finish 4th

Senior Michael Galonski led the St. Thomas Aquinas College cross country team to a 4th place team finish at the East Coast Conference Championship.  His third place finish, and course PR of 25:34, earned him All-Conference First Team honors.

Galonski has led this team in every race this season.  He continuously sets the pace for his teammates.  Sophomore Joseph Chegwidden posted a time of 26:31 as the second Spartan to cross the line.  Senior Matthew Buell was next in 27:36 followed by classmate Micheal Kraus in 28:19.  Freshmen Ryan Gasser and Stephen McNiff worked with Buell and Kraus throughout the race.  They have both shown great improvement throughout the season and finished in 28:25 and 28:30 respectively.

The men's squad returns to action in two weeks at the NCAA East Regional at Franklin Park in Dorcester, MA.
