Lady Spartan Freshmen Jumana Khatib has been tabbed the Women's Rookie of the Week for Week 1 of the cross country season.  In her collegiate debut, she covered the 5K Van Cortlandt Park course in 22:08.  Khatib finished in 33rd place and helped her team to secure a 5th place finish for the day.

Teammates Mike Galonski and Meagan Jaskot were each named to the ECC Honor Roll for the week.  Galonski led the men's squad in the 5 mile race with a time of 27:21 while Jaskot set the pace for the women finishing in 20:26.
