Aida Torpey has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Torpey finished sixth among DII/DIII runners (18th overall) with a time of 19:14 to lead her team to a second place finish at the Highlander XC Challenge. The junior from Tomkins Cove, NY averaged a 6 minute and 11 second mile in the race on Saturday.

St. Thomas Aquinas will next be in action on Saturday, October 13 hosting their annual alumni race at Tallman Mountain State Park in Sparkill.
