Diodonet Finishes 11th at NCAA Outdoor Track Championships, Garners All-American Honors

St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Track & Field sprinter, St. Jacob Diodonet competed in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Thursday in Charlotte, North Carolina.

No stranger to NCAA Championships, Diodonet, the junior sprinter from West Milford, NJ has now taken part in four national meets (3 indoor & 1 outdoor). Saint took to the track in 400 Meter Dash, where he finished 11th with a time of 47.59.

In addition to his day of competition, St. Jacob made news off of the track, as he was named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Second Team All-American selection.

Didonet will now look to make it 4-for-4 in championship appearances across his 4-year collegiate career, as he prepares for his senior year, and the opportunity to participate in both indoor and outdoor national championship events during the 2018-2019 academic year.
