
Sparkill, N.Y. - St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Track & Field standout Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez has arrived in The Hoosier State, Indiana, with aspirations of capturing both his and the program's first NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field title. The national championships get underway Thursday, March 13 at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana and will conclude on Saturday, March 15th.
Mena Jimenez (Sr./West Haverstraw, N.Y.) will be making his fourth appearance at a Division II National Championships, having competed having competed in both the indoor (2024 & 2025) and outdoor championship meets (2023 & 2024) twice in his collegiate career. In his second indoor championship, Manny will battle D2's best in the Weight Throw competition, where he finished regular season ranked third in the country with a toss of 21.12 meters (69'3.5").
Manny will be in action on Friday, March 14, with the Men's Weight Throw Final set to begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. EDT. You can watch all of the action LIVE on NCAA.com.
Mena Jimenez's regular season awards and honors were numerous, as he was named USTFCCCA All-East Region and East Coast Conference All-Conference selections. He also earned ECC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week accolades on two occasions (January 14 & February 11).
During the 2024-25 Winter Indoor Season, Mena Jimenez (Gr.|Throws|West Haverstraw, N.Y.) led the way for the Spartans in the Weight Throw event, finishing First at the TCNJ Winter Open (18.97m), First at the Wagner College Invitational (20.74m), First at the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Invitational (20.43m), Second at the Ramapo College Season Opener (19.59m), First at the Big Apple Invitational (19.64m) and First at the East Coast Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships (21.12m).
NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships
