  • Lady Spartans Finish Season Strong

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat USP, 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in their final match of the season. Candice Zugibe and Samantha Vinci paired up for an 8-1 doubles win along with Raven DeLeon and Sam D'Andrea who paired up for an 8-6 victory. Bianca Signore and Shannon Biehle each won their singles matches as did Zugibe and DeLeon.
  • Lady Spartans Edge Lions, 5-4

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Molloy College, 5-4 in Saturday's final ECC match. Seniors Candice Zugibe and Samantha Vinci paired up for an 8-5 doubles win. Shannon Biehl, Raven DeLeon and Nasia Vega all won their singles matches to help lift the Lady Spartans past the host Lions.
  • Lady Spartans Fall to Queens, 9-0

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team fell to Queens College, 9-0 on Friday afternoon. Raven DeLeon and Sam D'Andrea lost their doubles match, 8-1 while Samantha Vinci played a hard fought singles match dropping, 6-1, 6-2.
  • Lady Spartans Honor Seniors

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost to visiting West Chester, 9-0 on senior day. The Lady Spartans honored their two seniors; Samantha Vinci and Candice Zugibe in a pre match ceremony. The seniors paired up for the second flight doubles match falling 8-4. Zugibe also dropped a 6-4, 6-0 singles match.
  • Lady Spartans Beat Cougars, 7-2

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Caldwell College, 7-2 on Friday. Raven DeLeon and Shannon Biehl paired up for an 8-2 doubles win while Samantha D'Andrea and Nasia Vega paired up for a 7-5 doubles victory. DeLeon, Biehl and Vega also won their singles matches along with Bianca Signorei and Candice Zugibe.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost to LIU Post, 7-2 on Saturday afternoon. Samantha D'Andrea and Samantha Vinci paired up for an 8-3 doubles victory. Raven DeLeon won her singles match, 8-1.
  • Bears Top Lady Spartans, 9-0

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost to NYIT on Friday afternoon, 9-0. Candice Zugibe and Bianca Signore fell 8-1 in their doubles match as did Raven DeLeon and Shannon Biehle.
  • Lady Spartans Top St. Rose, 8-1

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat visiting St. Rose, 7-2. Bianca Signore and Candice Zugibe won the 2nd and 3rd flright singles matches for the Lady Spartans. Shannon Beihle and Raven DeLeon won the second flight doubles, 8-1 and both went on to win their singles matches as well.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Dowling College, 7-2 on Friday afternoon. Shannon Beihle and Raven DeLeon paired up for an 8-2 doubles win while Samantha D'Andrea and Samantha Vinci won their doubles match, 8-2. D'Andrea, Beihle and DeLeon all won their singles matches as well.
  • Ramapo Tops Lady Spartans, 7-2

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost at Ramapo College on Tuesday afternoon, 7-2. Samantha D'Andrea paired up with Samantha Vinci for a 9-7 doubles victory. Raven DeLeon picked up the other win for STAC in a tie breaker match with a 10-8 edge over her opponent.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost to UDC on Friday afternoon, 9-0. Raven DeLeon played a hard fought match falling, 6-2, 6-3. Candice Zugibe and Bianca Signore lost the doubles match, 8-2.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat ECC newcomer, Daemen College, 5-4 in Saturday afternoon's match. Samantha Vinci and Shannon Biehl paired up for a second flight doubles win, 9-7. Samantha D'Andrea and Raven DeLeon picked up their first doubles win as a Spartan, 8-2. D'Andrea and DeLeon also won their singles matches to help STAC pick up the victory.
  • Lady Spartans Fall in Opening Match to Roberts Wesleyan, 9-0
    September 06, 2013
    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team lost their first match of the season to ECC foe Roberts Wesleyan. Freshman Bianca Signore played a tough top flight singles match eventually falling 3-6, 1-6 to the Redhawks, Tina Miller. Fellow rookie Shannon Biehle dropped her singles match, 1-6, 4-6.
