  • Spartans Chosen for Prestigious Virgin Media Experience

    Three Spartan student-athletes were chosen to represent St. Thomas Aquinas College in a study trip to London where they experienced the work environment and culture of Virgin Media for one week. Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field runners Lisa Brevogel and Sarah Callagy and Men’s Basketball player Flynn McFadden were three of the five students chosen for the prestigious all-expenses paid trip.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas student-athletes participated in the United Way's Spring Day of Caring. Over 50 volunteers from the soccer, basketball, track & field and cross country programs worked together on a variety of community service initiatives throughout the county.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's basketball team honored seniors Daniel Skinner and Jason Halloway and proceeded to down Mercy College, 67-63, in their season finale. The victory snapped STAC's six-game losing streak.

    On Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College athletic department hosted its 4th Annual Take a Kid to the Game Day event. The day started with a free basketball clinic in which children from the local community had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game from the college athletes.
