    SPARKILL, NY – A marathon of a tennis match took place as the St. Thomas Aquinas College Lady Spartans took on the Rider Broncos on Saturday. The final match of the fall season took all of five hours to complete, and the Lady Spartans nearly defeated their NCAA Division I opponents before ultimately falling 4-3.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Caldwell College, 7-2 on Thursday afternoon. Bianca Signore and Sara O' Brien paired up for a top flight doubles win, 8-6. Signore won her top flight singles match, 6-2, 6-4 while O'Brien won the fourth flight, 6-3, 6-2. Raven DeLeon and Shannon Biehle paired up for an 8-3 doubles win.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Molloy College, 8-1 on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans won all three doubles matches and five out of six in singles.

    SPARKILL, NY – On a beautiful Friday afternoon, the St. Thomas Aquinas College women’s tennis team took on yet another regionally ranked opponent in Queens College. The Lady Spartans did all they could do to thwart perennial power and NCAA Sweet Sixteen participant, but ultimately fell 9-0.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team struggled against top pre season pick, NYIT, losing 9-0. Sara O'Brien and Biance Signore lost, 8-0 in the top flight double match. Signore fell, 6-0, 6-3 in her singles match and O'Brien lost, 6-1, 6-0.

    SPARKILL, NY – The Lady Spartans tennis squad opened their season on a high note, as they defeated University of the Sciences 8-1 in non-conference action. A beautiful summer afternoon was truly all sunshine and rainbows for the Spartans, as they started off the match with a 3-0 doubles sweep.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis is set to open the 2016 Fall season on Friday, September 2nd, The Spartans will have a new look to them, starting with first time head coach Matt Capell. Capell took over the men's tennis program two years ago and guided the Spartans into the post season after one of their winningest season in 2016.
