  • Koerner Cards 73 in Round Two of NCAA Finals

    St. Thomas Aquinas golfer Niklas Koerner shot a 73 in his second round at the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, North Carolina. Koerner eagled the 18th hole to shoot 1-under on the back nine and put him at two over for the day and tied for 40th place.
  • Koerner Shoots 75 on Day Three of NCAA Finals

    St. Thomas Aquinas golfer Niklas Koerner carded a 75 on his third round at the NCAA Finals being played at the Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, North Carolina. The senior has represented the Spartan golf team advancing as an individual to the NCAA Finals where he posted rounds of 73, 73 and 75.

    St. Thomas Aquinas golfer Niklas Koerner shot a 73 in his opening round at the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, North Carolina. Koerner shot one over on both the front and the back to put him at two over for the day and tied for 34th place.

    St. Thomas Aquinas golfer Niklas Koerner is set to play in the NCAA Division II Championship Finals as an individual at the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, North Carolina. The championships will be hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University from May 18th - May 22nd. A live leaderboard will be available throughout the tournament.
  • Spartans Finish 5th at Super Regional; Koerner Advances to NCAA Championship Finals

    The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 5th place at the completion of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships. STAC moved up one spot during the third round but it was not enough for the team to advance. Senior Niklas Koerner finished in 5th place overall to advance as an individual to the NCAA Championship Finals on May 18-22.
  • Spartans In 6th Place After Second Round

    The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team dropped to 6th place after the 2nd round of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships. STAC went into the round tied for 2nd place but dropped a few spots shooting a team score of 309 for the second day in a row. Niklas Koerner was the low scorer for the group shooting a 75 in day two.
  • Spartans Tied for 2nd After Opening Round of NCAA Regionals

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished tied for 2nd place after the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships. The Spartans entered as the top seed from the East Region and will compete again on Tuesday afternoon at the Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team is set to participate in the regional competition of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. The regional competitions will be conducted May 4-6.
  • Spartans Win at Rum Point; Colby Lewis Captures First Place Title

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men’s golf team continued their solid spring with a victory at their annual tournament held down at Rum Pointe Golf Club in Ocean City, MD. Along with the team victory, senior Colby Lewis captured the individual crown after his birdie on the first playoff hole against Messiah College’s Jordan Kirsch.
  • Spartan Golf Takes 8th Place Among Strong Field At Buccaneer Invitational

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's golf team had a nice showing at the Buccaneer Invitational hosted by Barry University down in Miami, FL. The field was filled with many of the top teams in the country including the #1 ranked Nova Southeastern University Sharks.
  • Spartan Golf Takes 2nd at Battle at the Beach

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished in 2nd place at the Battle at the Beach tournament hosted by Tiffin University at Murrells Inlet, SC. Kevin Gately tied for second place overall falling one stroke behind the leader with a two day score of 147. Chris Gentle and Kai Rastetter were also among the top of the leader board tying for 9th overall with scores of 151.

    The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team fell three strokes away from the leader to finish up in 2nd place at the Challenge at Mystic Rock hosted by the winners Cal. University of Pa. Niklas Koerner tied for 2nd place overall shooting (-over par after three rounds.
  • Rastetter Shatters School Record, Finishing 2nd Overall

    The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s Golf Team finished in 9th place out of the 14 team field of Division I teams that included programs from St. John’s, Yale, Columbia and Harvard. The Spartan’s 3-day score of 853 (+13) was highlighted by a record breaking performance by junior Kai Rastetter.
