July 17, 2016St Thomas Aquinas College Golfer Brendan Hunter won the 108th Massachusetts Amateur Golf Championship on Friday at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. After five days of golf, the Groton resident is the best amateur golfer in the state of Massachusetts.

April 05, 2016The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team had a fantastic finish in the third round of the Barry “Buccaneer Invitational,” catapulting them from 11th to a 3rd place finish. The event consisted of some of the best teams in the country, including 5 top 20 Division II opponents, the 6th ranked NAIA and 3rd ranked NJCAA teams in the country.

Spartans Wrap Up Fall with 15 Shot Victory at Glen Oaks Shootout
October 21, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s Golf team got a nice preview of the 2017 Barclay’s course at Glen Oaks Golf Club in Old Westbury, NY on Monday. In a tournament comprised of all Division I programs, the Spartans managed a 15 shot victory in the 27 hole competition. Playing the three-9 hole courses, the Spartans shot a team score of 446 (297 - 149) which was just 14 shots over par.

Spartans Set Multiple Records at September Shootout
September 20, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team had a record setting weekend at Tallgrass Golf Club in Shoreham, NY. Four records were set in the 36-hole event; two team scores and two individual records. Sophomore Michael Miranda set two Spartan individual records, shattering the 18-hole number posting a scintillating 11- under par 60.

Spartans Finish 3rd at Doc Gimmler
September 14, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas men’s golf team got the year started off on the right foot with a 3rd place finish at the 2015 Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John’s University. The all Division I event was held on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park with 9 teams playing 54 holes of golf.
