Lady Spartans Named to WBCA Academic Top 25 Honor RollJuly 18, 2012The 2011-2012 St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball team tied for the 25th spot on the WBCA Academic Team Honor Roll with a team GPA of 3.415. The Lady Spartans have been ranked on the Academic Top 25 in Division II for 3 out of the last 4 years, including #1 in the country in 2008-2009.

Briana Sloper Named 2nd Team All MetApril 21, 2012St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball player Briana Sloper was named to the 2nd Team All-Met, after guiding the Lady Spartans to an 18-11 finish. Sloper averaged 17.1 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. The senior is a three time All-Met selection receiving 2nd team honors her junior year and 1st team recognition her sophomore year.

Briana Sloper Named Daktronics All RegionMarch 13, 2012St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball player, Briana Sloper was named to the Daktronics All Region, 2nd Team for the second consecutive year. Sloper was a 1st team All ECC player that guided the Lady Spartans to an 18-11 season averaging 17.1 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Briana Sloper Named CoSida Academic All AmericanFebruary 06, 2012St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball player, Briana Sloper was named to the 2011-2012 CoSIDA Academic All-American Team. The senior forward out of Williston Park, N.Y. leads the Lady Spartans with 17.5 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per game. Sloper has a 3.62 GPA and is a psychology major that will graduate in May.
