Ferrara and Fitzpatrick Earn Regional Honors
May 21, 2010St. Thomas Aquinas head golf coach Stephen Ferrara was named the Eaton Golf Pride Division II East Regional Coach of the Year which was announced by the GCAA. Junior Chris Fitzpatrick was a Division II PING All-Region selection for the second year in a row. -
Spartans Season Ends at National Championships
May 21, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished its season today as half of the field was cut due to bad weather for the final round at the NCAA Championships. The Spartans complete one of their best seasons in the history of the program with their second trip to the NCAA Championships. -
Fitzpatrick Shoots Even Par in Round Three
May 20, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team completed round three of the NCAA Championships with a team score of 310, their lowest of the week. Junior Chris Fitzpatrick led the group with a round of even par, 72. -
Spartans Move Up in Round 2
May 19, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team moved up to 17th place after round two of the NCAA Championships. Mike Gunderson shot a team low 77 for the day and has a two day total of 160. Junior Chris Fitzpatrick shot a 78 in round two giving him a two day score of 159. -
Spartans Complete Round 1 of NCAA Championships
May 18, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished day one of the NCAA Championships with a team score of 325. Senior Sean Campbell had the team low for the day with an 80 on the tough Sagamore Golf Course. Chris Fitzpatrick and Nick Delango each shot 81 for the day. Mike Gunderson had an 83 while John Casey posted an 84 for the Spartans. -
Spartans Set to Tee It Up at NCAA Championship

Spartans Advance to NCAA Championships
May 05, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished the NCAA Regionals in 3rd place advancing them to the NCAA Division II Championships. STAC put together their lowest team score of the event, shooting 294 for the day to help them advance to the Championships for the second year in a row. -
Spartans Complete Round Two in 7th Place
May 04, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished in 7th place on Day Two of the NCAA Regionals. John Casey shot a team low 76 while teammate Chris Fitzpatrick shot a 79. The Spartans finished with a team score of 323. -
Spartans Finish in 4th after Round 1 of NCAA Regionals
May 03, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished the day 11 over par which placed them in 4th out of a field of 20. Junior Chris Fitzpatrick and senior Sean Campbell paced the Spartans with first round scores of 72 and 73 respectively. Mike Gunderson shot 75 while John Casey shot 79. Nick Delango rounded out the scorers with an 88. -
Spartans Selected for the NCAA Division II Regional
April 25, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team was selected to compete in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, WV May 3-5, 2010. STAC is among 80 teams and 32 student-athletes selected to participate. The Spartans are led by junior Chris Fitzpatrick and senior Sean Campbell. -
Spartans finish 3rd, Ferrara Earns 300th Victory
April 12, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas Men's Golf team finished 3rd this past weekend at the 5th Annual Peter King Memorial tournament hosted by Dowling College. Head Coach Stephen Ferrara earned his 300th career head-to-head Division II victory in his 4 years at St. Thomas Aquinas. -
Spartans Win First Rockland Collegiate Cup
April 08, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas mens golf team captured the first annual Rockland Collegiate Cup over Dominican College and Nyack College hosted at Blue Hill golf course. The Spartans fired a team score of 296 led by senior Sean Campbell who shot an even par 72 and junior Chris Fitzpatrick who also shot a 72. -
St. Thomas Aquinas Golf Team Ranked #2 in East Region
April 05, 2010The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team is currently ranked #2 in the East Region as voted on by the NCAA Division II Mens Golf Committee. The Spartans have won two out of their last three tournamnets as a team. Junior Chris Fitzpatrick has set the pace for the Spartans winning three consecutive tournaments. -

Delango Shines in Spartans First Fall Tournament
September 21, 2009The St. Thomas Aquinas mens golf team started their 2009-2010 season at the St. Johns University McLaughlin held at Bethpages Red Course. Among the field were some top Division I programs including Coastal Carolina, UNC Wilmington, Boston College, Villanova, Princeton, Harvard and St. Johns University. Freshman Nick Delango led STAC in shooting a team low 218 (75-72-71) good for 38th place.
