Luis Morales Earns ECC Player of the Week Recognition
September 20, 2016St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer player Luis Morales was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Morales scored three goals last week, including a game winner, to guide the Spartans to a 2-0 week. Morales scored the first two goals in the Spartans 3-2 win at Roberts Wesleyan and went on to score the game winner in overtime at Daemen.

Nicholson Named ECC Defensive Player of the Week

Nicholson recorded an .875 save percentage and a 0.54 goals against average to finish with a 2-0 record in net on the week. In the Spartans 2-0 shut out win against Georgian Court to open the season, he recorded seven saves.
