Five Spartans Named to Women's Lacrosse All Conference Teams
May 02, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team had five players receive all conference honors. Senior Kellie Kucinski also received first team all conference accolades as a midfielder. Alyson Brennan, Samantha Lowney and Rosa Prestano were all second team selections. -
Courtney McGrath Earns Defensive Player of the Year Award
May 02, 2015St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse player Courtney McGrath was named the ECC Defensive Player of the Year. McGrath helped the Lady Spartans to a second straight appearance in the ECC Championship with outstanding defense from the midfield position.

Spartans Fall to Dowling in ECC Semi Final
May 01, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas lacrosse team lost to Dowling College, 12-6 in the semi final playoff game of the East Coast Conference. Senior Kellie Kucinski scored two goals for the Spartans and freshmen Caroline Finnen had two goals and one assist.

April 26, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas Women's Lacrosse Team beat UDC, 18-3 on Sunday afternoon. Courtney McGrath had three goals and four assists to lead the Spartan offense. Caroline Finnen and Samantha Lowney had four and three goals respectively.

April 23, 2015St. Thomas Aquinas lacrosse player Kellie Kucinski's scored her 5th goal of the day in overtime to give STAC a 12-11 win over Bridgeport. Samantha Lowney and Caroline Finnen each scored two goals for the Spartans and Lowney added two assists.

Spartans Hold Off Lions, 13-12 on Senior Day
April 11, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Molloy College, 13-12 on Saturday afternoon's senior day game. Grad Student Courtney McGrath completed her final home game at STAC with a strong offensive output of 5 assists and 2 goal. McGrath scored STAC's final goal which proved to be just enough to top the Lions.

March 05, 2015The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Georgian Court, 15-13 in Overtime on Wednesday, March 4th. Kellie Kucinski scored 4 goals for the Spartans including one in overtime. Freshmen Caroline Finnen added 3 goals including the final goal of the game to help secure the victory for STAC. Kaitlyn Lonergan had 8 saves in the win.

Ruth Pluviose Addresses Guests at Annual Tribute Dinner
November 04, 2014St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse player, Ruth Pluviose addressed the guest at the Annual Tribute Dinner on October 17th. Pluviose gave a heart felt speech expressing her gratitude to scholarship donors as well as thanking her mother for inspiring her to work hard to fulfill her ambitions.
